[Analysis] Copying the "pros"

This is a short thing just about not always taking to heart what the top players do in their matches :D

Quite often on here I link to replays hosted at Gosugamers, its full of replays of the top teams playing important matches against each other. However its also got loads of games from Inhouse Leagues - basically games where top players will play, but not alongside their usual team-mates, in more of a relaxed setting than league matches, i.e. nothing is really riding on the outcome. More fun strategies are tried here, along with interesting hero picks and different item builds from those generally accepted as standard.

Its of course great to watch those kinds of games too, you can learn alot about how individual skills play out in a dota game, but perhaps not quite as much about how a team pulls off seamless moves and strategies.

In one game I watched recently, Loda (fnatic.msi) played tidehunter buying battlefury and mask of death as core, whilst Feardarkness (EG.dota) played on the opposing team as rikimaru buying Sange and Yasha as his first major items. In a clan war setting, these items are definately not optimal on these heroes, but it wasn't a clan war setting so I guess it didn't really matter to those guys. I hope no newer players would be watching those replays thinking that they show the best way to build those heroes, because they really don't.

Just hope that players can tell the difference between the "pros" playing properly, or messing around a bit.
