The gosucup that I started posting about over a month ago is really getting into its end stages now. Round 5 of the loser brackets saw EVOPlay.dota (formerly reality.dota) play against Razer.CGC (formerly ks.int), an interesting match-up with lineups as follows:
Razer.CGC:
(Chen, Puck, Panda, Bane, Nerub)EVOPlay:
(Warlock, Admiral, Lion, Abaddon, PotM)Its not great on early game ganking, but shows how a game can be won by the teamfighting stage instead. Teamfights here are definately great fun to watch, loads of AoE moves and heals going off about the place, watch how the teams co-ordinate well enough to focus down particular heroes and attempt to save their allied heroes at the same time.

The winner of this game would go on to play Xeo.int (formerly srs.razer) in the quater finals of the loser bracket. Other teams still remaining in the loser bracket are TEG, DPP and Apteka.
The winner bracket final is between The Last Try and Team Thermaltake, so the winner of this match-up will go through to the grand final, whilst the loser still has a chance to win the grand final via entering into the loser bracket.
At this stage I expect to see TLT in the grand final, alongside either TEG or EVO. For TLT to not win the whole competition at this stage would be quite an upset, though we've seen it done by TEG recently in the fnatic cup so perhaps they can pull something out of the bag again. Good luck to all teams remaining :D
GamesCom
The gamescom dota competition begins tomorrow, and is scheduled to run through until the semi-finals and finals on saturday of this week. Teams confirmed to be playing are Ravens, dmZ, Fnatic, UCP, MCiTY, Razer.CGC (Ks.Int) and Xeo Divine, with the 8th team being either DTS or Next Please!, depending on whether DTS can attend or not. This definately looks as though it'll be interesting, nice to see australians MCiTY in a tournament, havent seen much of them in a while. I don't even know who to back for this tournament, Fnatic and Ravens both look in good shape, Ks.int can be the best team in the world when they play at their best, MCiTY could produce an upset, dmZ are of course very good but just dont seem to be able to keep up with the guys right at the top.
In an attempt not to sit on the fence, I'm gonna back Ks.Int to win the tournament, though I'm by no means confident of that prediction xD
Updates over the next few days and we'll see how this pans out.
